Suppliers suddenly canceled their supply, and Amazon sellers were upset...

Recently, the editor learned from the official Amazon seller forum that a seller is currently seeking help because the supplier suddenly stopped shipping.

Seller Chartier_Enterprises said that his cooperative supplier cancelled the shipping account without prior notice, and he had never had any conflicts or disputes with the supplier before, and he did not know the reason for the cancellation of the shipment. Chartier_Enterprises deleted his listings as soon as the incident happened, but still received a large number of orders before the account was locked. Currently, sellers are working hard to find remedies to prevent their accounts from being punished or blocked by Amazon.

Sellers on the official forum offered advice and suggestions to Chartier_Enterprises, trying to help him get through this difficult time.

Seller A: Do you have a LOA from the supplier? Is it within the warranty period? You need to send a notice to the supplier now, stating that since the cancellation is "sudden", the accepted order must be shipped, otherwise all pending orders will be covered by the LOA.

Seller B: It sounds like you're dropshipping. If you can't ship your order, you'll need to cancel it. But first, be sure to message the buyer to let them know you're canceling the order, and allow 3-5 days for any pending charges to clear.

Seller C: Unless you can find products to fulfill the order and ship them by the estimated shipping date, Amazon will suspend your account for selling products that do not exist. Your situation is the nightmare of sellers who use drop shipping, and you are not the only one.

Although sellers have provided a lot of help and support for the Chartier_Enterprises incident, the outcome is unlikely to be optimistic. Chartier_Enterprises may have its account suspended due to its inability to provide goods. Usually FBM sellers will choose drop shipping, which can help sellers reduce the pressure from inventory. However, when choosing a cooperative supplier, you must be careful to ensure that the supplier has a good reputation to avoid similar situations.

The editor would like to remind you that as the peak season approaches, while sellers are keeping a close eye on sales and hoping for a surge in orders, they should also pay close attention to issues such as inventory and transportation. After all, due to the high sales volume during the peak season, some unscrupulous e-commerce sellers, suppliers, and transporters may take the opportunity to profit and cause harm to sellers.
