Relying on the Cainiao network system, Lazada continuously iterates and upgrades its own logistics. Through intelligent logistics big data and intensive operations of sea, land and air hubs, it explores logistics solutions for multiple scenarios, bringing merchants a new logistics experience that is convenient, efficient and cost-effective. To help merchants further improve the timeliness of logistics, Lazada now brings two major benefits to merchants: the opening of collection points in 7 cities and the launch of the Nanning hub center. Let’s take a look at how the Lazada logistics team will implement the plan step by step. In June, 7 cities will open their collection points, with new optimization of cost and time efficiency Lazada is committed to helping merchants go global in Southeast Asia without worries. It is service-oriented and continuously expands the industrial belt to meet the needs of merchants and creates a new cross-border ecosystem for the industrial belt. Since the launch of Lazada Yiwu Beiyuan Street Collection Point on April 1, the convenient and efficient collection service has helped merchants around the industrial belt to greatly improve delivery efficiency and reduce labor and time costs, which has been well received by Yiwu merchants. After Lazada's logistics team took the lead in deploying the Yiwu industrial belt, it will launch collection points in six cities, including Quanzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Xiamen and Fuzhou, on June 1. Merchants can deliver goods to the collection points nearby! There is also a special benefit of free operation fees for the collection points in Yiwu, Quanzhou and Shenzhen! Helping merchants in the industrial belt to reduce costs and increase efficiency in logistics and do a good job in cross-border business.
Recently, Lazada has greatly improved the order fulfillment time of merchants by optimizing the order fulfillment assessment nodes. Merchants who use free collection, paid collection, and collection point collection services, after grouping small packages into large packages in the seller service center and delivering them to the collection personnel and collection points, scanning the large package delivery bill represents successful collection and delivery. The system will use this time as the SLA fulfillment completion of each small package merchant, which is 24-48 hours faster than ungrouped packages. The grouped small packages will use the time of scanning the large package as the collection time, that is, the time for the small package to go online, that is, the online front. Packages that appear "pick up in bag level" in the logistics node mean that they have been shipped, and the order will no longer be cancelled by the platform due to timeout. The first phase of Nanning Hub Center goes online, empowered by both region and policy In order to give full play to the triple advantages of Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone , namely, superior geographical location, rich policy dividends, and complete business functions , Lazada has chosen Nanning as a key node in its self-built logistics hub system, and took the lead in settling in Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone in 2020 to establish the Lazada Logistics Cross-border Ecological Innovation Service Center. On May 28, the first phase of Lazada Nanning Hub Center was officially launched . The 8,000 square meters of warehouse area can meet the transit volume of multiple locations, realizing a more diversified, smarter, and more efficient logistics supply chain. Nanning is located in the hinterland of the Beibu Gulf, close to Vietnam and adjacent to Thailand, and less than 350 kilometers away from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The expansion of Lazada's logistics network has changed some of the logistics sent to Vietnam from the original transit mode in Shenzhen to direct delivery to Nanning, no longer needing to transit through Shenzhen, which can save up to one day, greatly improving the logistics timeliness, allowing packages to arrive faster, and bringing better service experience to hundreds of millions of buyers. At the same time, Lazada Vietnam Station has launched a product return merchant service, buyers return goods and failed secondary sales goods (value > 10 US dollars), which can be returned to the merchant. The second phase of the Nanning Hub Center will open more functions and services to help cross-border merchants go to Southeast Asia more conveniently.
