Okazii is a well-known online trading website in Romania and one of the largest e-commerce websites in Romania. Okazii was founded in 2000. It started with second-hand car trading and later expanded to electronic products, clothing, books, sporting goods, etc. Okazii allows users to apply to open a store online and sell their own items through the platform.

Okazii is a Romanian e-commerce platform that has been operating for more than 18 years. The website sells more than 3,000 categories on a daily basis and has more than 3 million visits per month.

Okazii has a team of more than 100 employees. Okazii operates in eight departments: Programming, Customer Support, SEO, Security, Statistics, Marketing, Sales, and Development.

In 2010, Business Review nominated Okazii.ro as the "Online Project of the Year Award" at the Business Review Gala.

Settlement

To sell on Okazii, sellers just need to go to the sales page and fill out the form, which Okazii will review. When sellers sell for the first time, they need to set a password and username for the account that is automatically created.

cost

Okazii charges two types of fees:

1. Listing Fees: The first 100 product listings on Okazii are free, and thereafter a fee of 0.01 euros will be charged.

2. Transaction Commission: When a product is successfully sold, the seller pays Okazii a percentage commission based on the product value.

Development History

-In 2000, Trafic, the largest e-commerce website in Romania, was born.

-In April 2008, Okazii launched Okazii Store, allowing small merchants to open their own online stores.

- At the end of 2000, there were only 5,000 products for sale on Okazii, while in April 2012, that number exceeded 1.4 million.

- From 1st to 13th November 2011, Lucian Bute's glove auction took place, which was the most successful auction initiative in the history of the site and the most high-profile online charity auction in Romania in 2011.

- The launch of the Andreea Raicu store on Okazii on March 13, 2013, marks the debut of a very popular Romanian star on the e-commerce platform.

- On January 27, 2014, Okazii CEO Radu Sitaru presented 2013 figures and estimates.

-In February 2014, Okazii began testing a new search algorithm, Kinetic.

- In March 2014, Okazii launched the most comprehensive iPad app for Romanian online stores.

- In April 2015, Okazii and Paravion ended their partnership in bidding for travel packages.

-In May 2015, Okazii and Biciclete entered into a partnership to increase the sources of their products.
