Hipercard is a Brazilian online payment platform with more than 50 years of history in the Brazilian market and continuous development since 2004, with a focus on providing the best experience to participants in Hipercard's payment arrangements.
About Hipercard
Hipercard emerged in 1969 when the Grupo Bompreço membership card was launched in Recife. During these five decades, the brand has built a good reputation in the Brazilian payment market, mainly in the Northeast. The expansion of merchant card acceptance after the opening of the acquiring market in 2017 played an important role in the performance of the product. With this initiative, customers' purchases and usage frequency increased, which has had a positive impact on Hipercard's performance since then.
