New energy exports are booming, Geely's "Wei Rui Energy" officially settled in Alibaba International Station

Currently, the export of new energy continues to be hot. Before the New Trade Festival in March , Geely Holding Group 's new energy company "Weiwei Energy" also settled in Alibaba International Station and started its digital overseas expansion.

On February 28 , Geely Weirui Energy and Alibaba International Station signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly launch a brand overseas project. This is a further in-depth cooperation between the two parties at the specific business level after Geely Holding Group and Alibaba Group reached a strategic cooperation on January 12 .

" 2023 is a critical year for VMware Energy's global layout. Choosing to enter into strategic cooperation with Alibaba International Station is the first step for our energy ecosystem business to go overseas. " According to Yuan Ye, head of global marketing at VMware Energy of Geely Holding Group , the company's new energy vehicle-related three-electric systems ( batteries, motors and electronic control systems ) have export revenue of nearly 10 billion yuan. In the next three to five years, it hopes to achieve top three local market share in major global markets in energy segments such as energy storage and charging.

At present, VMware Energy's overseas channel network and matching warehousing and logistics have spread across Europe, America, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region, and local after-sales service centers have been established.

"The digital foreign trade platform is like a lookout tower for going out to sea. We will work with VMware Energy to jointly create a new energy brand made in China and create a brand superposition effect. " Dai Xianwen, industry operations director of Alibaba International Station , believes that over the past five years, Alibaba International Station has launched a series of digital foreign trade service capabilities, which have enabled cross-border B2B to no longer be limited to inquiries and online transactions. It also includes digital business opportunity insights, digital marketing, supply chain fulfillment and other aspects. These capabilities will help VMware Energy find new growth in digital foreign trade.

In the past three years , the cumulative export growth rate of the new energy industry on Alibaba International Station has exceeded 10 times . Among the top ten products of 2022 released by Alibaba International Station , new energy-related products occupy three seats.

This year, the continuously hot new energy export industry has brought new opportunities: new energy vehicle charging piles. In the upcoming March New Trade Festival, new energy charging piles and other products will be the key categories of Alibaba International Station. This is also one of the main products of the cooperation between Geely Weirui Energy and Alibaba International Station.

Currently, Alibaba International Station has become the first stop for many new energy companies to go global. Before Geely Weirui Energy, lithium battery leader Yiwei Lithium Energy and new energy "unicorn" Delan Minghai have all achieved impressive digital overseas results on Alibaba International Station.

In mid-January this year , Delan Minghai negotiated with a major German buyer through a cross-border live broadcast on Alibaba International Station, and won the first order of the year in 4 hours, which was worth one million. Yiwei Lithium Energy has specially built a cross-border live broadcast room. Currently, the orders obtained through cross-border live broadcast on Alibaba International Station have become the main source of performance for Yiwei Lithium Energy's foreign trade e-commerce team.
