The director of the Xiali Police Station of the Ye County Public Security Bureau said: "After they buy the identity information and business licenses, they will register an Amazon store on the Amazon platform. After the store is successfully registered, they will sell it to others at a price ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 yuan. If you only provide your ID information, the price is 700 to 800 or even 500 to 600 yuan. If you register a business license with your identity information and provide it to them, the reward is basically 1,000 yuan. The store is sold for 3,000 to 4,000 yuan."

The person involved explained: "It means using other people's information to register an online store, and then conduct normal online store transactions after registration."

This method can make money very quickly. The police said: "In less than two months, this criminal gang has made a profit of more than 350,000 yuan by collecting information and registering online stores for illegal transactions. So far, we have detained 13 suspects on suspicion of buying and selling state official seals and infringing on citizens' personal information."

Amazon responds to the ban of big seller accounts
