Middle Eastern e-commerce Noon is about to launch a Ramadan promotion

Yesterday, the UAE e-commerce platform Noon announced that it will carry out a month-long Ramadan promotion across the UAE from April 1 to May 12. Among them, the discounts on groceries and daily necessities are as high as 75%. Noon will also hold a 10-day limited-time sale event with low-price sales for 12 hours every day, covering all categories of goods, including fresh agricultural products, supermarket staples and groceries.

During this Ramadan promotion, Noon will offer discounts on more than 60,000 products on the platform, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, cleaning products and baby care products. Special food items are priced as low as 1 UAE dirham (about 1.78 RMB), mainly honey, jam, salt and noodles.

Noon also launched some promotional packages, such as what you need during Ramadan and Eid. These combination packages include rice, sugar, salt, chickpeas, cooking oil, etc. The prices range from 49 to 69 to 119 UAE dirhams.

In addition, between April 8 and 10, consumers who pay with Visa credit or debit cards for amounts above 30 UAE dirhams (about 53.52 RMB) can enjoy a 25% discount. It can be said that Noon is working hard for the Ramadan promotion.

Maya El Ayach, Digital Strategy and Growth at Noon , said: “Ramadan is an exciting and busy time. Our team has been working hard over the past few months to ensure we have the best range of products at incredible prices for our customers to shop before and during Ramadan. We are also committed to creating a successful time for the thousands of local sellers who are looking to sell their products on the platform.”

This year's Ramadan will start on April 13 and end on May 12. A survey shows that Middle Eastern consumers will buy goods online before and during Ramadan. Therefore, sellers can extend their marketing front and obtain more traffic.
