Having served nearly 60,000 customers, Polish DTC furniture brand Tylko has raised nearly 170 million yuan

Tylko , a digital furniture company headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, recently completed a Series C financing of 22 million euros (about 170 million yuan). Since its establishment in 2015 , Tylko has provided furniture design, production and distribution services to nearly 60,000 customers , and its sales in 2020 increased by 132% year-on-year .

Currently, the company's product portfolio includes Type 01 plywood (classic design) and veneer (natural wood) and its successor Type 02 (bold design with a distinct style)

These product series allow customers to configure furniture products including bookcases , sideboards, TV cabinets, shoe racks, closets, chests of drawers, etc.

In addition, Tylko has developed its unique business model based on simple yet effective principles , with natural and non-toxic ingredients, easy customization, on-demand production, solar-powered factories, and recyclable delivery packaging as selling points.

Customers can use AR tools to view product usage scenarios before placing an order, or they can independently design the furniture they want based on parametric design principles . Tylko then uses its proprietary software to help its production partners automate the manufacturing process of customized furniture, treating each order as a new solution. In the process, consumers can adjust it down to the last detail according to their needs.

Tylko has raised a total of €33 million in funding to date. The latest round of financing is expected to be invested by Tylko in product and new material development, market expansion, supply chain sustainability optimization and doubling the size of its current 140-person team.
