Basic Features

1. TNT Express is first of all fast and flexible. Therefore, express delivery must have fast transportation tools for long-distance transportation and small transportation tools for collecting, distributing and delivering goods. The transportation tools that meet this requirement are obviously airplanes and various types of special vehicles. Of course, the different regional traffic environments in various countries and regions also lead to companies operating in regions such as Japan or Europe relying on large freight trucks to undertake medium and long-distance transportation. In addition, in the distribution center of goods, especially the central area of each company's operating area, express delivery companies must set up special collection, transfer and control centers, equipped with large warehouse groups, computer centers, control and command centers, customer service centers, transportation tool storage centers and other facilities.

2. Management services: To achieve door-to-door or desk-to-desk services for express items, it is necessary to receive customer information in a timely and accurate manner, process documents quickly, track items throughout the entire process, and answer customer inquiries at any time. To achieve these functions, express delivery companies must be equipped with advanced computer networks, advanced communication networks, and unique software and hardware functions that can meet and realize various personalized and special express service needs. The next-day express delivery created by FedEx founder Smith has established FedEx's dominant position in the US express delivery industry; on the other hand, service functions are also showing a trend towards diversification and logistics development.
