With the country's publicity on intellectual property protection, people's awareness of protecting intellectual property rights is gradually increasing. However, there are still many people who cannot withstand the temptation of huge market profits, resulting in frequent infringement incidents.
Data shows that in the first quarter of 2022, customs across the country seized a total of 10,220 batches of infringing goods. Among them, infringement issues in cross-border e-commerce channels have gradually become the focus of customs law enforcement. As a gathering place for cross-border e-commerce sellers, Guangdong has even more serious infringement issues.
It is imperative to strengthen protection of the entire intellectual property chain.
In the first quarter of 2022, customs across the country seized a total of 10,220 batches of infringing goods
It is reported that in the first quarter of 2022, customs across the country seized a total of 10,220 batches of goods, all of which were suspected of infringement, involving as many as 28.51 million pieces of goods.
From the perspective of specific categories, daily consumer goods such as clothing, shoes and hats, leather goods, luggage, care products, and electronic products have become hot categories of infringing goods seized by customs recently.
Huangpu Old Port is the main export port to Africa, Southeast Asia and other "Belt and Road" countries or regions. Most of the containers leaving the sea from this port are clothing, shoes and hats, toys, electronic products and other goods, which are the key areas for customs to combat infringement.
The fight against infringements continues
When it comes to combating infringement, it can be said that Customs has been doing so on an ongoing basis.
In 2021, customs across the country stepped up enforcement efforts on intellectual property protection, seizing 79,000 batches and 71.8 million pieces of suspected infringing import and export goods throughout the year. Among them, customs in Guangdong Province actually detained more than 18,000 batches of infringing import and export goods, totaling about 31 million pieces.
From the infringement cases seized by customs in recent years , the editor found that the proportion of cases involving patents and copyrights has increased. In addition, the infringing goods seized by customs recently are mostly daily consumer goods such as clothing, shoes and hats, leather goods, luggage, care products, and electronic products.
As the country tightens its protection of intellectual property rights, cross-border e-commerce, as a new form of Internet e-commerce, is bound to attract attention. Intellectual property protection has become a top priority for customs law enforcement inspections of cross-border e-commerce. This also warns cross-border sellers to pay attention to intellectual property issues when exporting goods, so that they can be safe and go further. policy Infringement |
