OnBuy relocates its headquarters to accelerate market expansion

OnBuy is set to relocate its headquarters , which will help it expand across the UK and beyond .

The new OnBuy headquarters is located in the seaside resort town of Bournemouth on the south coast of England, close to the Richmond Hill roundabout in the center of Bournemouth. The new headquarters is named OnBuy House and covers an area of 12,000 square feet. OnBuy will occupy four floors of the building, with ample lounge areas and a spacious roof terrace.

The south coast of England is not only a scenic spot that tourists flock to, its ideal quality of life environment has also attracted many technology companies and is increasingly known as "Silicon Valley". OnBuy will officially move from its old office to a new building in the center of Bournemouth in February to prepare for the company's growth and global expansion.

The move is related to OnBuy 's recent rapid development. After a large-scale recruitment campaign in 2021, OnBuy has expanded from a few team members to more than 100 employees. In addition, the company will continue to need to introduce more talents as it executes its expansion plans.

Last December, OnBuy launched an employee equity incentive plan that allows 100% of the company's team shareholders to participate, a major benefit that will bring rich rewards to potential employees. OnBuy also needs to fill many employees from entry-level to mid-level positions that are needed to run a modern technology company today.

While it is also strengthening its "executive layer" in 2021, the company is still looking to fill leadership roles. Recently, OnBuy's founder and CEO said the company is looking for an experienced e-commerce marketing director.

Between the ideal new office location, the region’s unique strengths and its rapid growth, OnBuy will continue to attract the talent it needs to expand its business, providing OnBuy with greater growth opportunities.

As a local e-commerce platform in the UK, OnBuy's development plan is not limited to the local market. In recent years, it has been preparing for market expansion, such as establishing partnerships with more and more well-known brands, as well as building payment methods and logistics infrastructure. The relocation of the headquarters will also further promote OnBuy's development plan.
