Amazon launches new dashboard to help sellers manage compliance issues!

Recently, Amazon announced that it will launch the " Manage Your Compliance Dashboard " to a limited number of sellers this week, and will launch the experience to 10 sellers in the first quarter of 2022 .

Amazon said the new dashboard will simplify how sellers manage product compliance documents, attributes and appeals .

Specifically: View and enforce product compliance requirements in one place ; filter and sort cases by deadline to identify the most critical actions ; submit documents and manage appeals in batches (up to 5,000 ASINs) ; access any services needed to achieve compliance ; manage product compliance requirements ( such as import and export regulations and product warranties for the countries/regions where sellers want to ship or sell ).

However, at this stage, the tool does not include all products that meet compliance requirements, such as hazardous materials, chemical products , and food. Amazon will continue to add products to the tool over the next 6 months and will update sellers when new categories are added .

I have seen this announcement in the seller forums of both the US and European sites. This means that the new control panel should cover most sites. However, the tool is currently only open to a small number of people, and most people should be able to use it next year.

Logically, this new control panel should optimize the seller's operations, but some sellers will be terrified. One seller commented: The announcement says " makes product compliance quick and easy so you can focus on growing your business ", does it mean that there will be more compliance requirements in 2022 ?

We don’t know whether more compliance requirements will be introduced next year, but what is certain is that Amazon has indeed made some improvements in compliance this year.

In November, Amazon announced the launch of a new “Compliance Reference” feature on the seller platform.

According to Amazon, this feature can help sellers learn and understand Amazon's product compliance policies in the target market, and provide compliance solutions with information on officially recognized compliance service providers.

After logging into the seller platform, sellers only need to click Inventory > Add New Product > Compliance Reference to enter the corresponding interface, enter keywords or HS codes, and obtain relevant requirements for product compliance, hazardous goods compliance, export trade compliance, and import trade compliance.

In addition to the query service, the "Compliance Reference" function also provides sellers with a number of domestic and international compliance service providers to choose from.

However, this feature is currently only available on Amazon US, but it supports inquiries about relevant compliance policies and service providers with destinations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, and registered sellers can use it for free.

Product compliance is a big concern for sellers . I hope these tools will really help them.
