Manage your online store from your phone! TikTok Seller App is here

According to a report from foreign media TechCrunch on Monday, TikTok launched the TikTok Seller App in Indonesia last Friday, providing sellers with new support for conducting platform sales business through mobile devices, including registration, inventory management, order processing, online business analysis, etc.

The report shows that sellers can conduct their business, manage promotions, provide customer service, and access seller tutorial materials through the TikTok Seller program, citing the application listing. Currently, TikTok has carried out several shopping pilot projects in Indonesia.

A TikTok spokesperson said the platform is always looking for ways to enhance the user community experience and regularly tests new features that inspire user creativity and improve the app experience.

“Brands on TikTok have found a creative outlet to truly connect with their audience, and the platform will continue to experiment with new business opportunities to help its community discover and engage with what they’re passionate about.”

It is understood that TikTok launched a seller university for sellers in the Indonesian market earlier this year, a move that was confirmed at the time to be one of many tests of its e-commerce solutions.

The platform also launched a set of TikTok shopping tools, allowing merchants to add a shopping tab to their TikTok profile page to showcase a synchronized product catalog in a mini storefront.

Last week, TikTok also launched Creator Next, a service that allows creators to unlock tools to reward their efforts on the social media platform. Creator Next and other new features allow community users to express their gratitude to creators, including tips and video gifts.

Tips allows users to express their gratitude to creators, who will receive 100% of the rewards, with payments supported by Stripe. Video gifts allow creators to collect diamonds worth 5 cents through live broadcasts and video publishing.

In addition, TikTok has opened the TikTok Creator Market (TTCM) to more users through Creator Next, allowing qualified creators with 10,000 or more followers to register for the market for the opportunity to work with brands that match their style and interests.
