Amazon launches new marketing tool, sellers are expected to see a surge in orders during the peak season

Recently, Amazon announced that the new feature “Growth Opportunities” has been officially launched on the US site . This feature can help sellers screen key ASINs and provide marketing optimization suggestions.

 

According to the official introduction, key ASINs are divided into two categories : high value and high potential . High value ASINs refer to products with top 10% sales or page views , while high potential ASINs refer to products with potential based on the performance of other similar products .

 

It is understood that the system provides a series of recommended actions that are helpful to business development for key ASINs based on scientific algorithms, and ranks the operation results from high to low.

 

For each action suggestion, the system will show sellers the corresponding daily views of the product, ASIN conversion rate, category conversion rate, sales ranking and inventory quantity.

 

In addition to indicators about the historical performance of products, Amazon also provides sellers with estimation models to predict the sales increase that sellers may achieve after executing recommended actions. The system will give the corresponding estimated profit amount based on the recommended actions that sellers will take and the experience data of some sellers in the past.

 

Sellers can choose a solution that suits them based on these indicators.

 

The current recommended actions include improving the A+ page and adjusting the pricing strategy. The specific operations of improving the A+ page include adding a main image, adding a high-resolution main image , creating an A+ comparison table, creating an A+ product description , registering for the Vine program , and optimizing the product name ; the specific adjustments to the pricing strategy involve tactical price cuts and increasing "Subscribe and Save" funds . Amazon said that as the algorithm becomes more and more perfect, new recommendation opportunities will continue to be introduced in the future.

 

Currently, this feature has been opened to sellers on the US site, and some features are only available to brand sellers who have applied for Amazon brand registration .

 

Black Friday is coming up soon. Some sellers have a lot of products and ideas, but they may be stuck in a vortex of not knowing where to start. Therefore, you might as well try this new feature. However, since this feature has just been launched, there is not much historical results to refer to, so sellers should be cautious and not waste too much cost.
