Sales of small kitchen appliances rise in Russia

A scientific and healthy lifestyle is becoming more and more popular among consumers, and healthy food generally needs to be made by oneself. Data shows that compared with the first half of the year, Russians' demand for equipment for preparing healthy food, healthy cocktails and low-calorie baked goods has increased by 41%.

 

Food processors are popular, making it easy to slice salad vegetables, mix fruit cocktails and puree soups. In late summer and early fall, searches increased by 80% compared to June and July. Electric grills, which retain more nutrients than pan-fried foods, also saw a 30% increase in searches .

 

Electric meat grinders are also becoming increasingly popular, with searches increasing by 70%, as people prefer to make their own meat rather than minced meat, not only because they don’t have to worry about preservatives, but it also tastes better and is more nutritious.

 

For health and natural reasons, people prefer to squeeze their own fresh juice. Compared with June and July, the search volume for juicers in August and September this year increased nearly 3 times. In addition, Russia's apple production is expected to increase by 20% this year to about 1.5 million tons, which will also promote the demand for juicers to a certain extent.

 

A healthy diet includes minimizing the use of oil and fat. A multifunctional bread machine is a good alternative to a frying pan. It is not only suitable for preparing healthy snacks, but also for preparing hearty lunches and breakfasts. Interchangeable panels enable the preparation of a variety of sandwiches, waffles and steaks every day with almost no oil. Between August and September, searches increased by 47%.

 

In addition, as the temperature gets cooler, Russians are creating not only an indoor environment but also emotional comfort. Autumn evenings are often spent with friends and family enjoying hot tea and homemade cakes. High-calorie cinnamon and chocolate are gradually being replaced by low-calorie desserts and yeast-free bread. And, when it comes to cooking, modern electronic devices are beginning to replace standard ovens.

 

As a necessity of life, home kitchen has always been a hot-selling category on major e-commerce platforms. As consumers pay more attention to health and wellness, sellers must also adjust their layout direction in a timely manner.
