Recently, the editor learned from the Amazon official seller forum that some sellers reported that there were problems with Amazon's online delivery service (Amazon Buy Shipping) for self-delivery sellers' orders , and the INR claim appeal was rejected.
Seller just_trying_t said that his INR case appeal was rejected, and Amazon officials did not give any explanation for this, nor did they have the option to appeal further. What happened was that on the day the order was received, just_trying_t shipped the product on time through USPS, and the post office scanned the product on the same day, but the package was lost by USPS a few days later. The seller emphasized that he used the Amazon Buy Shipping service and helped the buyer throughout the sales process, guiding the buyer to submit an AZ claim to obtain a full refund.
It can be said that this seller is very conscientious and helped the buyer solve the problem as soon as the goods had problems. However, Amazon's subsequent actions disappointed just_trying_t. Since the seller used the Amazon Buy Shipping service and shipped the goods on time, he appealed, hoping that Amazon would provide funds for the claim in accordance with the service policy and remove it from the seller's indicators, but was rejected by Amazon.
just_trying_t pointed out that it is very frustrating to see Amazon not following its own policies. Sellers have followed all of Amazon's guidelines but have not received the corresponding services. The unfairness of this policy will cause confusion and "legal uncertainty" among sellers. just_trying_t hopes that Amazon will give sellers confidence and encouragement. If sellers comply with Amazon's established policies, they should be protected by the policies.
Subsequently, a large number of sellers expressed their opinions in the forum.
Seller A: We sellers have enough problems dealing with scammers on Amazon who abuse returns all day long. When Amazon makes a rule that "if you use Amazon Buy Shipping and ship on time, you are protected," they should follow their rules.
Seller B: I have heard reports that Amazon does not provide funds for lost packages and will only make INR claims if tracking shows delivery.
Seller C: We recently had a similar experience where we were denied an INR claim despite using Amazon Buy Shipping and shipping on time (including delivery/tracking screenshots on the order). When we were unable to appeal further, we filed a general request for help.
It seems that there are indeed some problems with the Amazon Buy Shipping system, and some sellers are unable to obtain corresponding policy support and services. As the peak season approaches, sellers should always pay attention to the details of cargo transportation to avoid unnecessary losses. Amazon Seller Claims |
