Earlier, Indian e-commerce retailer Flipkart launched a one-and-a-half-hour hyperlocal delivery service "Flipkart Quick" in Bengaluru, which provides consumers with more than 3,000 products in different categories, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat, groceries, electronics and baby care. Flipkart has expanded its Flipkart Quick hyperlocal delivery service to six more cities in the country, namely Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida, Hyderabad and Pune. Consumers can place orders online and pick up the goods within 90 minutes , or they can make reservations two hours in advance according to their needs . Flipkart Quick leverages the company ’s investment in Ninjacart , as well as strategic partnerships with other local suppliers, to provide customers with the best quality fruits and vegetables. On the other hand, Flipkart 's strategic logistics partner Shadowfax will also help Flipkart Quick complete the last mile delivery . Sandeep Karwa, Vice President of Flipkart, said : “ Hyperlocal delivery services can enhance the online shopping experience for consumers and facilitate the supply chain operations of e-commerce companies. Importantly, this service can attract more partners and accelerate the improvement of the ecosystem to provide customers with faster and more reliable services .” He added: “ Flipkart is a customer-centric e-commerce platform and we will continue to work on creating more solutions that will not only bring greater value to our customers but also promote the development of local farmers and suppliers and provide a boost to their entrepreneurship . ” The Walmart-owned retailer plans to expand the service to other cities such as Kolkata and Mumbai in a phased manner this year. Last month, Flipkart had expanded its grocery service to over 50 cities, including seven major cities and over 40 neighbouring cities. It is understood that in September 2020, Flipkart launched Flipkart Wholesale online wholesale business, whose main products include men's/women's clothing, children's clothing and various ethnic clothing. In February 2021, Flipkart Wholesale added a grocery category, providing consumers with food, personal care products and household items from more than 350 brands. Flipkart Flipkart Quick |
