On April 2, Amazon cleaned up the accounts on its platform, and a large number of sellers were caught in the second and third reviews. The latest news is that Amazon has recently cleaned up the accounts again. The accounts that were blocked on April 2 first received a mass email, and the accounts that had just successfully appealed were also blocked again. The sellers' mentality collapsed, and they called it the "fourth review."
Amazon scans accounts again, and accounts blocked on April 2 are hit again
When the third review was triggered, some sellers revealed that there would be a fourth review in two weeks. Now it has happened. On Thursday evening, many sellers reported that they had received an email with the same content as the 4.2 ban email:
Sellers analyzed that this was another round of sweeps by Amazon, and the accounts that had just been swept once before were the first to be hit, and were once again put on the spot. This wave of mass-sent emails to block accounts resulted in the "corpses" of accounts that had not been blocked on April 2 being "whipped"; accounts that had been unblocked were swept again and faced a fourth review, returning to the pre-liberation era overnight - blocked again.
Among the sellers who received the email, most of their accounts have not been restored and they have not even submitted an appeal. Others have submitted an appeal but their appeal and response records have been cleared, which means that sellers who have not passed the review need to resubmit a series of appeal materials. Some people see this as a new opportunity to appeal.
But the seller who just restored his account was very upset:
" 13 minutes ago, the account that passed was blocked again... " " I was just unblocked this afternoon, and now I'm blocked again! " " The account that just passed a few days ago has just been blocked again. " " There's no end to it. I passed the second and third trials, and the account that just passed last week was blocked again. "
One of the sellers said that he had just shipped out 20 cubic meters of goods after his account was blocked again after he appealed recently. He was very upset. Some sellers had already put all the goods in the domestic warehouses in preparation for a big promotion, or large quantities of goods were on the way to sea.
Regarding the fourth review account, a seller gave advice: "I have encountered a European account that was unblocked and then blocked again. I took a screenshot of the email and sent it to the performance team, and then it was opened for me. You can try this on the US site too."
An investment manager gave the North American second-instance billing requirements, which sellers can refer to and submit again:
In any case, the sellers involved analyzed that the account that was reviewed again must have a problem. Once the account was scanned, it would definitely be triggered and the items had already been put into Amazon’s warehouse. Sellers sighed and said that if the account was restored, the first thing they would do was to withdraw the money, but this was difficult. One seller said that his account was blocked two days after he withdrew the money, and the balance bounced back.
I appealed 15 times and submitted 48 documents. My account was blocked again 3 hours after it was restored.
In fact, in the past two weeks, the sellers whose accounts were blocked on April 2 have been trying to appeal and submit various materials in the hope of getting their accounts back. However, only a few sellers have successfully appealed. Once someone is approved, many sellers will come to ask for advice on how to get through the appeal. There are two typical successful cases in one appeal group.
1. Persistence. A seller on the Japanese site said that his account was a link bought last year and was blocked in 4.2. He submitted 48 documents, each of which was unique. This perseverance made many sellers call him "awesome". The seller shared that the information he finally passed the appeal was: a new government and enterprise broadband account in the company's name was opened for the office address, and the business registration form + invoice of the broadband was provided.
2. Luck-based. On the same day, another seller also sent good news: "I passed, keep going everyone." He appealed for the second time, and his account was restored in half an hour. The seller also shared his experience - this was a purchased account, and the first time he submitted the business license and fake electricity bills, it was rejected; then he submitted the business license and fake gas information the second time.
After hearing the information submitted, the sellers who were watching were all amazed: That's it? Is this the ultimate simplicity? It's so lucky! The sellers seemed to have seen the dawn of victory, and the seller in question was also very happy and said, "I want to go for a drink."
But just half an hour later, the seller came back angrily: "I was blocked again!" The seller who appealed 15 times and restored his account was also blocked again: "There was only a gap of 3 hours between passing the second review and encountering the third review. I didn't have time to celebrate before the re-review."
This time, it was even more difficult to appeal against the ban. Many sellers submitted the same information, but their appeals were rejected in seconds. A group of sellers fell into their darkest hour. Another batch of products was identified as pesticides
In addition, a batch of products were recently identified as pesticides, causing many sellers to worry about this.
One seller said that several new products were identified as pesticides by Amazon and deleted after they were put on the shelves recently, and there was no solution even after opening a case. Another seller lamented: "Normal products were also identified as pesticides. My brother-in-law's system must be toxic!"
The email from Amazon mentioned that this product has been identified as a pesticide, pesticide device, or a product containing pesticide claims. To reinstate this product, please provide certification that an EPA exemption has been applied for . We took action because this product is not allowed to be sold on Amazon.
The platform also reminds sellers that products that continue to make pesticide claims from any source must comply with Amazon's listing requirements for pesticides and pesticide devices. If all pesticide claims for the product have been removed and these claims are the only reason the product is considered a pesticide or pesticide device, the product can be re-listed.
Why are a batch of products recently identified as pesticides? Informed sellers said that it is because the five descriptions of these products contain banned words. Sellers can check the following banned words by themselves, modify the title and selling point description, or try to change the selling point.
According to a seller who has experienced countless pesticide crises, Amazon has provided a list of sensitive words that includes more than 100 words (for reference only, after all, customer service levels vary).
Insecticidal, Anti-toxic, Anti-mildew, Waterproof, Dustproof, Antifouling, Preservatives, Sterilization, Insecticide, UV, Antimicrobial, Used to prevent Eliminate, Repel or slow down any pest, Anti-oxidation, Mildew proof, Bacteriostatic, Antibacterial, anti-virus, filter air, resist ultraviolet rays Disinfect, prevent or inhibit the growth of bacteria, Antifungal, Allergens Filters, mites, dust, insect repellent, insects, pests, Water filtration, Anti-Mites Inhibit-Algae, Sanitize-Blight, Sterilize, Insect prevention, Resistant for mosquitoes & ants; Material: High-quality PVC, Nontoxic, Healthy, Environmental Protection. Among them, words such as antibacterial and waterproof are very confusing. Many sellers selling shoes may write words such as antibacterial, and some waterproof products may easily have the word waterproof in the title description . These may be judged as pesticides, resulting in the deletion of the product.
Some sellers questioned this, believing that there was nothing wrong with waterproof. In one seller case, a product was identified as a pesticide, and the customer service informed them that waterproof was a sensitive word. As a result, after the seller requested to delete the word, the product was actually restored.
It is understood that there have been many incidents where products have been identified as pesticides. A batch of products were also affected in the middle of last month, a wave of products were affected before the New Year, and a batch of products were also identified in August last year . Among the products that have been affected many times, there are some new products or products that have not been sold for a long time. Many sellers have also complained that their products have nothing to do with pesticides.
According to insiders, Amazon may conduct sensitive word detection on a regular basis, and products detected to contain words identified as sensitive by the platform will be directly judged, and there are some cases of misjudgment.
When a seller's product is judged to be a pesticide, he or she can first refer to the above vocabulary to conduct a self-check for sensitive words, and then open multiple cases to seek help from different customer service staff. Customer service will generally tell the seller which word is a sensitive word. After finding the sensitive word, it is best to ask customer service to help delete it, and then the link can basically be restored. Amazon, fourth review, account |
