To improve website rankings, sellers can refer to these six tips!

According to Wikipedia, Google is the most commonly used search engine by users, processing more than 5.4 billion searches per day, and its market share reached 92.16% in December last year.

However, all clicks are not evenly distributed. Better rankings mean more clicks, which makes good website ranking one of the most important factors in increasing website traffic. Amanda Todd shared some tips that can greatly improve website rankings. Sellers, come and have a look!

1. Fix errors and broken links

Error pages and broken links will not only have a negative impact on your website rankings , but also affect the user's browsing experience. For this reason, sellers need to regularly audit and maintain their websites to fix problems in a timely manner.

2. Optimize for mobile devices

About half of all Google searches come from mobile devices . This percentage has been steadily increasing over the past few years. Therefore, it is crucial to optimize your website for mobile devices.

3. Improve loading speed

Studies have shown that users expect any website to load in 3 seconds or less , otherwise they will leave the website . In order to reduce the bounce rate of the website and improve the website ranking, sellers should ensure that their website can load quickly.

4. Add relevant external links

High-quality outbound links increase your website’s credibility and authority, which in turn can have a positive impact on your website’s ranking. Sellers should take care to link to quality websites that have authority in their industry , thereby signaling to Google that you are a good source of information.

5. Optimize Images

Adding images to your content can break up the text, make it more visually appealing, and add value to your readers. Using alt tags with your images can help explain your content to Google . By editing your images , you can also ensure high loading speeds.

6. Pay attention to your URL

Content-rich and direct URLs are easier for Google to parse and for your users to remember . Sellers should set up a good domain name that represents your business , use a clear page hierarchy, and use a static URL system that includes keywords .

Avoid using stop words like “ and ,” “ or ,” “of,” “but” in your URLs and instead focus on your primary keywords in the title to keep your links short and sweet.

Google rankings are not static, and improving Google rankings will not be effective in a day or two. All sellers have to do is follow SEO best practices and continuously improve your website to get a better ranking in Google in the long run.
