According to a report released by Malaysian market research firm iPrice, Thegioididong , an e-commerce website operated by retail giant Mobile World , ranks fifth in Southeast Asia . By 2020 , Thegioididong had an average of 28.6 million monthly visits, covering six countries in Southeast Asia . Tiki , Vietnam's second-largest e-commerce site , ranked sixth with 22.4 million monthly visits , followed by Indonesian e-commerce platform BliBli, which ranked seventh. In addition, Vietnam 's local e-commerce platform Sendo received 14.3 million web visits per month, ranking eighth, followed by Bach Hoa Xanh ( 8.8 million) and FPT Shop ( 7.2 million). In addition to the popular shopping websites mentioned above, Shopee and Lazada still top the list of Southeast Asian e-commerce platforms, followed by Tokopedia and Bukalapak in Indonesia . The report said that overall visits to online shopping platform websites in all countries in Southeast Asia increased year-on-year. Among them, Singapore had the highest growth rate, up 35% compared to 2019, followed by the Philippines (21%) , Vietnam ( 19%) , Malaysia ( 17% ), Thailand ( 15%) and Indonesia (6%) . The report also said that Vietnamese consumers spent an average of US$17 per order in 2020, and electronic products were the most popular items among Vietnamese consumers. Data shows that in terms of daily traffic, Vietnam's e-commerce websites rank second in Southeast Asia , second only to Indonesia , which is also an affirmation of the development potential of Vietnam's e-commerce market in competing with international competitors . In addition, Vietnam's major e-commerce platforms also carried out other marketing activities in 2020, such as attracting customers through gamification features of the application, free delivery features and discounts. It is understood that last year, the size of Vietnam's e-commerce market increased by 18% compared with 2019, reaching US$11.8 billion. Vietnam became the only country in Southeast Asia to achieve double-digit growth in the industry during the epidemic.
