OnBuy and PayPal establish long-term partnership

With the development of the e-commerce industry and the platform itself, OnBuy is no longer limited to the local market and is preparing for international expansion, such as product improvements and localized payments.

Recently, OnBuy announced a long-term partnership with PayPal . The two parties signed a new two-year agreement and upgraded to the latest PayPal business platform. This upgrade provides PayPal with a new simplified checkout process to improve the customer payment process , providing a simple and secure order completion experience for PayPal and debit/credit card payments.

For sellers, funds are more secure on PayPal and can be used to easily transfer funds or pay fees directly from your PayPal balance.

The newly signed deal is an important milestone in OnBuy's international growth, expanding its merchant customer reach while also being able to attract new sellers in international markets through a globally trusted and familiar payment solution. In addition, the revamped platform will provide access to more payment solutions, credit solutions, and other key products offered by PayPal.

Global support will also include localized payment options, meaning merchants and customers alike can enjoy a simplified user experience as OnBuy is ready for multi-currency, multi-language and multi-country expansion.

In response, OnBuy said, “ We are a partner of retailers and are proud to be a platform built on fairness and transparency. OnBuy is changing the way the market serves retailers. We know that if we can provide what retailers need to thrive, we can provide the best choice for our customers. "

It is reported that during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday period, starting from November 20, OnBuy successfully achieved a year-on-year growth of 30%. Earlier this year, it also completed a financing of 35 million. Subsequently, it continued to increase investment in various aspects, inviting well-known sellers to settle in, expanding into new markets, and so on.

This cooperation with PayPal will further promote OnBuy's expansion into the international market, and its ambition should not be underestimated.
