On October 24, the 2022 Tmall Double 11 press conference was held online. Dai Shan, president of Alibaba Group's domestic digital business sector, said that the 14th Double 11 will maintain the original intention of making consumers happy, adhere to user-centric long-term value creation, and bring more business certainty to merchants.

 

In 2009, only 27 merchants signed up for the first Tmall Double 11. This year, 290,000 brands from around the world participated, of which 70,000 were participating for the first time. In addition, there are millions of merchants from industrial belts and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs participating. Dai Shan said that Double 11 has become a concentrated proof of the integration and symbiosis of the digital economy and the real economy.

 

Dai Shan shared that as one of the most important supply and consumption ends of the global economy, China will inevitably play a more important role in the global economy.
