Shopee sellers take note! The Preferred Seller Program can help improve product search rankings

Whenever you search for products on the platform, there are always many products on the first page with the Preferred label, which is the sign of the Preferred Seller.

Shopee sellers need to understand several aspects about the preferred seller program ↓

Invitation-based program: If the store meets the preferred seller indicators, it will be invited to participate in the program.

Free plan: No fees required.

Increase buyer trust: Preferred sellers need to pass certain conditions of review. Passing the review means that the store status and product and store quality are recognized and certified by Shopee, so buyers can buy with confidence.

Improve search ranking : The search ranking of products in the preferred sellers' stores will be higher than that of general stores, and there will also be an independent search section for buyers to check.

Buyers can earn Coins Cashback: When buying products from preferred sellers, buyers will receive a certain amount of Coins Cashback as a reward, which will make them more willing to spend. The amount of the cashback is based on the terms of use of the Coins Cashback Vouchers used by the buyer .

So how can sellers become preferred sellers? Shopee lists the following data standards ↓

1. Net order count (past 30 days) ≥ 50

2. Unique buyers (in the past 30 days) ≥ 30

3. Store score ≥ 4.5

4. Order uncompleted rate (past 7 days) < 14.99%

5. Delayed shipment rate (past 7 days) < 14.99%

6. Chat response rate ≥ 75%

7. Number of days when the proportion of pre-ordered goods exceeds 10%: 0 days

8. Store score = 0

If the store meets the conditions for preferred sellers, it will receive a "Preferred Seller Program" notification.

Sellers enter the Seller Center, click Data > Order > Preferred Seller option, and click Upload Identification Card to accept and join the Preferred Seller Program.

Sellers can also upload their identification documents (Upload IC) and join the Preferred Seller Program through the Preferred Seller page of the Shopee App.

After submitting the identity verification, the seller can see the confirmation message on the "Preferred Seller" page. However, sellers should also be aware that if the following conditions are met, the preferred seller status may be revoked immediately:

1. The proportion of pre-ordered products for 6 consecutive days or more within 30 days is greater than or equal to 20% ;

2. Failure to maintain the preferred seller threshold ;

3. Selling infringing goods .
