In 2020 , the successive listings of Pop Mart and Perfect Diary attracted the attention of the outside world to the new forces of commerce . Data shows that 100,000 new brands have entered Tmall in the past three years , and the next golden decade for new brands has just begun.
To support the better development of new brands, on February 1 , Alibaba Group’s Customer Experience Group (Ali CCO), Tmall Food and Fresh, Tmall 3C Digital, Tmall Beauty, Tmall Pharmaceuticals and Tmall Ecosystem jointly launched the Rocket Growth Plan 2.0 , which is expected to serve 100,000 new Tmall merchants within one year .
In May last year , Alibaba CCO and Tmall Food and Fresh Produce departments launched the Rocket Growth Plan for the first time , which is mainly aimed at fresh produce merchants who have just entered Tmall for 0-6 months. Through a one-on -one customer manager system and online teaching, the plan helps merchants quickly complete the growth transformation from 0 to 1.
It is reported that within half a year, the Rocket Growth Plan has helped nearly 400 new fresh food merchants grow rapidly . During this special period, many new fresh food merchants on Tmall have used the e-commerce platform to help local farmers sell their agricultural products .
"I wanted to open a Tmall store three years ago, but I was always hesitant and didn't know what to do after opening the store. I was very confused. At this time, Alibaba's CCO account manager guided us and taught us how to open and operate a store. It was a great help and touched us." said Xie Jun, founder of Yiyouxian Tmall flagship store.
Xie Jun is a kiwi fruit merchant born in the 1980s in Zhouzhi, Shaanxi. He opened his first Tmall store in March 2020 and became a member of the Rocket Growth Plan in June of the same year. Relying on the advantages of a mature fresh food supply chain and the full support of account managers, the Yiyouxian Tmall flagship store has grown rapidly, with a 900% increase in store transaction volume in 9 months, creating two hot-selling products in the store: sweet persimmons and kiwis. Based on previous successful experience and combined with the characteristics of various industries, the Rocket Growth Plan has been comprehensively upgraded and extended to the 3C digital, beauty, and pharmaceutical industries, mobilizing more than a dozen ecological service providers to jointly serve new merchants .
The upgraded Rocket Growth Plan will have its service standards formulated by Alibaba CCO, with collaboration tools provided by Alibaba Cloud Teambition , and joint support from Tmall Food and Fresh, Tmall 3C Digital , Tmall Beauty, Tmall Pharmaceuticals, and Tmall Ecosystem. It will also provide free online teaching for new merchants, as well as 7*16 hours online Q&A and other services. Guo Kunkun, the director of merchant services empowerment at Alibaba CCO, said that the goal of the Rocket Growth Plan is to lay a solid foundation for the long-term operation of new merchants on the Tmall platform and become a guide for new merchants. "Most of the merchants who have settled in Tmall have brand dreams. It is the responsibility and obligation of the platform to support them in realizing their dreams, which is the significance of Alibaba CCO's service to merchants." |
