About Altra

• The Altra brand was born in Wasatch, Utah, USA. Its founder, Golden Harper, was a runner who completed a marathon in 2 hours and 45 minutes at the age of 12. He fully understood the distress that injuries bring to runners. After graduating from college with a sports injury, Golden Harper found that when analyzing the running posture of runners, traditional high-drop running shoes would cause the runners' feet to be subjected to greater impact when landing, while barefoot running would improve the running posture to a certain extent.
