On October 31, a group of more than 20 caring people from the cross-border e-commerce industry came to Xiangshan Primary School in Chenguang Town, Xunwu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province to care for left-behind children.
Since 2016, the "Caring for Left-behind Children Program" initiated by Ennet has been carried out for 6 consecutive years. The companies and individuals participating in this caring action include: Jinghuada, Speed 10, Ennet , Tongtuo Technology, Asiabill, Qingduoduo, Damai Intellectual Property, Shikemei, Jinbotong International Freight Forwarding, Fundpark Fengbo International, Cross-border Yashe, Jinghui Technology, Jiutouniao Club, Xianzhixianjue, Jingcheng Capital, Wanlicheng Customs, Huafuda, Black Five E-commerce Academy, as well as Chen Jianwei ( Daweige) , Zhu Feiyang, Elosia , and overseas caring people Tom . They sent stationery, books, school bags and other learning supplies, basketballs, skipping ropes, badminton, table tennis, basketballs and other sports supplies, laptops, projectors and other teaching supplies, scarves, umbrellas, water cups, watches and other daily necessities, as well as chess, military flags and other educational and entertainment supplies to the left-behind children of Xiangshan Primary School.
The children who received the gifts were very happy. Some of them couldn't wait to put on their schoolbags, some played with their friends with badminton rackets, and some shared the candies in their hands with each other. Looking at the innocent smiles of the children, caring people said that after more than 5 hours of bumpy ride, seeing this scene now, everything is worth it.
At the end of the activity, it started to drizzle, and the umbrellas that the children received came in handy. They held up pink and black umbrellas and walked home in groups of three or four, playing and having fun.
As a six-year defender and organizer of the "Caring for Left-behind Children Program", Chen Jianwei has many feelings: "Six years ago, when we first entered the mountains, we came to Xiangshan Primary School. The playground was not hardened, and there was no decent classroom... The conditions were very simple. I still remember it deeply, and it also made me secretly determined to carry out the "Caring for Left-behind Children Program" to the end."
Along the way, the "Caring for Left-behind Children Program" encountered many problems such as insufficient funds, coordination, and landslides caused by heavy rains, but they finally persevered. For example, in 2019, a group of caring people were hit by heavy rains on their way to Xiangshan Village, and many roads leading to the village collapsed, which blocked their journey. In the end, caring people carried the materials on their backs, on the muddy roads, and braved the rain and the danger of landslides at any time to deliver the materials to the school.
"We have persisted for many years in the hope that our love can make a dream come true and our funding can change the direction of a life." Chen Jianwei said: "I hope that the 'Caring for Left-behind Children Program' will be like a lamp, illuminating the children's path to school, igniting the hope of the proud children from poor families with warmth and love, and providing them with a clear sky. "
Now, with the help of the government, Xiangshan Village Primary School has built a basketball court, and the dirt road leading into the village has been turned into a cement road, and the living conditions of the villagers are getting better and better. Chen Jianwei and other caring people in the "Caring for Left-behind Children Plan" project have witnessed these changes and also participated in promoting these changes. This year, in addition to caring for left-behind children and providing financial aid to students, they have also added a "new rural construction" project and donated ten sets of stone tables and stone benches to the Xiangshan Village Cultural Square, so that the villagers can have a place to rest and chat after the busy farming season or after a meal. It is reported that "building a pavilion in the cultural square" has been included in their donation plan for next year. Caring for left-behind children |
