"You pay for my trip to space", Brother-in-law Versailles caused a large number of customers to cancel their Prime membership!

Many Amazon customers canceled their Prime subscriptions after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos flew into space and spent several minutes in zero gravity last month and returned to Earth.

The key reason why Amazon customers canceled their Prime subscriptions was because of the brother-in-law's grateful remarks. Bezos thanked all Amazon customers for funding his space trip, but he didn't know that speaking is also an art, and excessive gratitude will have the opposite effect and make people dissatisfied.

"I want to thank every Amazon employee and every Amazon customer because you make this possible, " Bezos said after the flight. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's really commendable."

According to Business Insider's report data, since Bezos made his space travel remarks, a large number of customers have canceled their Amazon Prime subscriptions and refused to continue paying service fees to the e-commerce and digital streaming giant.

Many Amazon customers have expressed their distaste for funding a billionaire's private space travel, while some have even called the entire space travel event orchestrated by Bezos a crude display of his wealth.

Customer A: Amazon employees are blocked from joining the guild because they interfere with your space travel.

Customer B: Considering we paid for you to go to space, how about you give every Amazon Prime subscriber a free gift?

Customer C: I’m about to cancel my Amazon Prime subscription because Bezos said “thanks, you’re the ones who paid for this” when he returned from space.

Customer D: Stop paying for Bezos' vanity space fulfillment and cancel your Amazon Prime account, shop offline, or order online from platforms other than Amazon.

Some customers who have canceled their Prime memberships said that Amazon was originally just an online mall for purchasing books. Over time, they gradually realized the negative impact of Amazon on the traditional publishing and paper media industries, and paid attention to the wrong consumer concepts spread by Amazon and its poor treatment of its warehouse employees.

Bezos' speech on space travel has made more and more people realize that when a person's wealth continues to accumulate, he becomes opposed to ordinary people. This may be the last straw that breaks people's expectations for Amazon.
