eBay UK strengthens "Small Business Power" to help small sellers

The campaign was enhanced through emails and product landing pages featuring small sellers. In addition to the main Small Business Power Promotion landing page, there were also landing pages for DIY Tools, Home Decor, Garden & Patio, and Toys & Games.

It mainly involves the following aspects:

A range of new seller offers, including a 5% fee reduction and 75% off new listing costs for existing and new business sellers, to help them make the most of online selling.

Provide coupons and discounts to consumers on the eBay platform to incentivize them to buy through small sellers.

Invest in training programs to help sellers get the most out of the eBay platform.

Increased investment in marketing to small sellers through TV, social, print and online media, such as the current partnership between the EFL and eBay. In addition to landing page promotions on the website, small sellers are also promoted through various channels.

It is understood that eBay launched Small Business Power as early as July to provide assistance to sellers. The main content is to provide discounts to sellers, encourage consumers to buy Small Business Power coupons, and launch investment training programs and increase marketing investment to promote the development of small business sellers.

As the lockdown is gradually eased, people's consumption habits are also beginning to change. In order to allow sellers to better adapt to the situation after the lockdown, eBay UK is also committed to providing assistance to sellers and injecting its own strength into small sellers. After all, only when small sellers develop better and better can the platform go further.

Small businesses are an important force in e-commerce platforms. eBay has been supporting small sellers through various activities, such as the eBay Up & Running Grants program some time ago, which provided $1,000 grants to 50 small sellers.

According to eBay's recently released financial report, its second-quarter performance was strong and exceeded expectations, with total revenue reaching US$2.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14%.

Sellers on the eBay platform should also pay close attention to platform trends and make timely adjustments to their sales plans.
