What is Biedronka? Biedronka Review, Features

Biedronka is the largest retail chain in Poland with 3,283 stores in more than 1,100 towns (as of the end of the second quarter of 2022), has been on the Polish market for 27 years, and the pillar of the company strategy is the careful selection of the highest quality products at low prices every day.


About Biedronka

  • Biedronka was founded in 1995 by Mariusz Switalski, co-founder of the Ronimo Martins Group. It is headquartered in Kostrzyn and had revenues of PLN 32 billion in 2013.

  • Biedronka mainly sells Polish products, most of which are branded products produced by the company itself. It is recognized as one of the best companies in Poland and its customers are mainly low-income people. It also sells some Portuguese-made products, mainly wine. In 2013, 90% of the goods it sold were produced in Poland.
