While consumers may save some money by buying these knockoffs, they are ultimately paying for their data and privacy.” In response, an eBay spokesperson said: "When Which? contacted us about this report, we reviewed the products in question and found that the majority did not violate our policies."
An Amazon spokesperson also said: " If customers have questions about the products they purchased, we encourage them to contact our customer service directly. In addition, we have removed several products from the shelves during our investigation. "
A spokesperson for SHEIN said in response to the incident: "We are still investigating. As a precaution, we have removed the relevant products from the shelves. Product safety has always been our top concern, and we will resolve this incident as soon as possible."
