Nearly 300,000 products were urgently recalled and are sold on platforms such as Amazon!

There is another problem with children's products!

Recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced an emergency recall of two products sold on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon , namely glass baby bottles and game tent theater toys .

The first product to be recalled is a NUK brand glass baby bottle with product number B0027SVJ9O . It has a capacity of 240 ml and comes with a latex nipple, suitable for babies aged 0 to 6 months .

It is understood that the product was sold exclusively on the Amazon platform from January 2018 to May 2022 , with a price of about $20. It should be noted that the recalled products only include batches produced in the UK. Currently, 100 of the products have been sold in the United States and 77 in Canada.

The reason for the recall is that the white pattern on the outside of the bottle contains excessive lead, which can cause poisoning and harm to young children's health if ingested .

At present, CPSC has not received any accident reports related to this product, but CPSC reminds consumers to stop using this glass bottle immediately and contact NUK to return the product and obtain a full refund.

The second product being recalled is Kidoozie brand play tents and playhouses , including the Ice Castle Tent, Extra Large Medieval Castle, My Clubhouse, Pirate Lair Playhouse, Regular Pop-Up Theater Tent, Red Pop-Up Theater Tent, Princess Hideaway Playhouse and Royal Castle Playhouse.

The tent and playhouse are made of nylon and mesh and are sold with a nylon storage bag. A label on the bottom of the tent or playhouse reads "Epoch Everlasting Play."

It is reported that this series of products were sold in Target, Marshalls, Barnes & Noble, Toys R Us and other independent toy stores and e-commerce platforms www.amazon.com, www.zulily.com, www.fatbraintoys.com from March 2014 to March 2022, with a price range of US$30 to US$35. 251,600 pieces have been sold in the United States and 37,200 pieces have been sold in Canada , with a total of nearly 300,000 pieces sold.

The recall is due to fabric toy houses and play tents not meeting flammability standards, posing a risk of burns to children .

CPSC urges consumers to immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Epoch Everlasting Play for a full refund or free replacement product.

Foreign markets have always had very strict supervision on product safety, especially children's products.

When cross-border sellers are planning their product layout, they must strictly control product quality and carefully evaluate product safety issues to prevent product recalls from causing losses to the store.
