When is Prime Day this year? The authoritative prediction is released!

When will the long-awaited Prime Day be held on Amazon? Here’s the latest news.

Recently, market experts released an authoritative prediction that this year's Prime Day will most likely be held on July 11 or July 18.

Fahim Naim, head of Amazon at Advantage Unified Commerce, an e-commerce consulting firm , said that based on the FBA warehousing deadline announced by Amazon, this year's Prime Day will be held on July 11 or July 18, unless affected by major events.

Because Amazon has previously announced that the warehouse entry deadline for Prime Day 2022 is June 20. This means that third-party merchants selling on the Amazon platform must deliver goods to Amazon FBA warehouses before June 20 to ensure that they have enough goods in Amazon's fulfillment centers to meet the needs of Prime Day.

Fahim Naim believes that in the past three years, the average FBA warehouse deadline has been 24 days before Prime Day. According to this rule, 24 days after June 20 is July 14, which is a Thursday. Promotions usually start on Mondays, so it is almost certain that Prime Day will be held on July 11 or 18.

Fahim Naim also said that Prime Day cannot be on the first Monday in July because July 4th is Independence Day in the United States. Prime Day has a 70% chance of being on July 11 and a 30% chance of being on July 18.

And according to the historical records of Amazon Prime Day dates, since the launch of the Prime Day promotion, a total of six Prime Days have been held in mid-July.

As of now, Amazon has not officially announced the date of the Amazon Prime Day promotion, but sellers can prepare in advance based on experts’ predictions. After all, the Amazon Prime Day promotion is likely to be a good time for explosive sales.

How should sellers prepare for Prime Day?

First of all, you must optimize the listing on the product details page, describe it according to the key points of use, and display high-quality pictures and A+ content to convey brand information and product advantages.

Secondly, we need to make a good advertising budget, arrange advertising campaigns in advance, label all products according to various event scenarios, effectively attract consumers, grasp the traffic of Prime Day, and maximize brand exposure.

Then you can participate in exclusive discounts or flash sales on Prime Day, or create deals, discounts, and promotions to enhance your product offerings and help increase sales.

Sellers can adjust their business strategies based on the hot-selling products in previous years and prepare for the arrival of Prime Day.
