However, under the influence of this year's global logistics crisis, cross-border sellers and logistics companies also faced challenges during the Double 11 period:


Nearly 2 million orders were put into storage and sorted , and nearly 400 trains arrived at the collection and distribution warehouse. On November 13, the Shenzhen East Warehouse ushered in the first peak of cargo volume after "Double 11". It is expected that from November 12 to 18, the daily storage and sorting of Shenzhen West Warehouse will reach 2-3 times the usual level, and the daily peak of storage will exceed 1 million orders... Behind these figures, there is a huge test of the company's operational capabilities.


"During this year's 'Double 11', 4PX Express's cargo volume is expected to exceed 40 million orders, with a daily peak of more than 10 million orders. All work has become a daily and normalized trend. 4PX Express has already possessed in-depth first-mile operation capabilities across the country," said Cao Guang, president of 4PX Express.



Technology empowers and ensures the transit of more than 10 million packages during the peak period


IT technology and big data have always been the technological driving force for 4PX's continuous progress in recent years. Cao Guang introduced, "With the support of cloud technology, we can withstand the peak of 10 million+ packages without any pressure, and can achieve millisecond-level response for 10 million+ orders. Customers' logistics needs will not be delayed at all, ensuring efficient order fulfillment."


The reporter saw at the Shenzhen East Warehouse that with the help of the self-developed sorting system, barcode recognition can be quickly performed, sorting can be carried out according to instructions, and comprehensive coverage of weighing and sorting can be achieved, ensuring that every batch of goods can be automatically identified and accurately sorted out of the warehouse. Weighing and sorting have been upgraded from the traditional manual mode to a 100% manual control mode.


In addition, 4PX's high-tech hardware , Red Light, made its debut at this "Double 11". While maintaining the sorting efficiency, 4PX used light curtains and other technical means to verify the parcels dropped from the sorting machine, reducing the misclassification rate in the warehouse to 0.03%, reaching the industry's leading level. At present, the Red Light project uses the automatic control system at the sorting machine's grid to achieve dynamic perception and precise control of the parcel drop action, reducing the hour-level process of turning over the package to check for errors to the minute level.


This year, a new digital large screen with multi-screen linkage and real-time intuitiveness has been added to the headquarters operations room. It supports linkage analysis of multi-dimensional core technical indicators, allowing the system risks hidden behind the data to be discovered within 5 minutes and dealt with in a timely manner, making business operations seamless.

Increase investment in "new infrastructure" to help China's freight transport around the world

Cao Guang said that all this is due to 4PX Express's continuous strengthening of the construction of the eight full-link businesses of "collection, warehousing, dispatching, customs clearance, handling, customs clearance, transfer and distribution" over the past 17 years, and improving service levels from the dimensions of collection capacity, international trunk lines, and terminal distribution.

According to Liu Shixiong, the security supervisor of the administrative department of 4PX, first of all, the headquarters set up an epidemic prevention command center, and the branch set up an epidemic prevention control team. Formulate epidemic prevention safety SOPs to standardize the epidemic prevention requirements for people, vehicles, and objects, and divide the relevant responsibilities into departments and responsible persons; and conduct epidemic prevention abnormal personnel transfer drills in all warehouses (for situations such as abnormal body temperature of personnel in the warehouse , security division of labor, route planning, disinfection prevention and other plans); strictly prevent and disinfect, the site is disinfected at least once a day, and areas with high frequency of gathering of people are disinfected less than 3 times a day.


Secondly, strictly control the entrance. HR strictly reviews the health code, travel code, and vaccination status of personnel entering the company (operators from other provinces need to have a 48-hour nucleic acid test); vehicles from other provinces must be guaranteed and reviewed in advance, and vehicles from epidemic areas are strictly prohibited from transferring goods; full-time control, personnel must undergo temperature testing every time they enter the warehouse; minimize external contact activities, and personnel are required to stay in a straight line between two points during work; meals are provided uniformly during activities to maximize the density of control.


Secondly, the headquarters set up a special inspection team to conduct 24-hour spot checks on the implementation of temporary job recruitment information, on-site disinfection, security control and other epidemic prevention measures in each warehouse during the event , and promptly report on the inspection situation of the day.
