Attention! Amazon to release global e-commerce tools for third-party sellers

Recently, according to foreign media reports, Amazon is launching a new solution tailored for third-party sellers on its platform, aimed at simplifying international process issues such as customer service and inventory management.

At the Amazon Accelerate Virtual Sales Conference, the e-commerce giant announced a set of new tools designed to make it easier for third-party sellers to sell their products in 21 Amazon sites around the world . The new tools are mainly the following four:

1. Amazon Customer Service

The tool is mainly aimed at FBM (self-fulfillment) sellers. Sellers can now manage customer inquiries, refunds and FBM order returns through Amazon. Global shoppers can contact more than 130 customer support sites by phone, chat or email and get help in 15 languages. At the Accelerate conference, Amazon announced that the tool is now available and will provide this service for free or at a discounted price based on the seller's customer contact volume.

2. Market product guide

The tool is designed to help third-party sellers determine the types of products they should offer internationally and understand other high-potential products they can add to their international store catalogs. These recommendations are personalized and will be ranked by intelligent machine learning. The ranking is based on hundreds of parameters at the seller, product, and store levels.

3. Global Inventory Viewer

Amazon will provide a one-stop solution for third-party sellers to monitor inventory supply and demand across all stores in a unified manner.

4. Global Listing

The tool is designed to enable third-party sellers to list products once on Amazon and sell them globally. Instead of managing products individually in Amazon's stores, sellers can now duplicate their product listings across multiple international stores with just a few clicks. Sellers will be able to view their listings from a globalized set of pages and views. Amazon is currently testing a beta version of the feature and will make it available in early 2022.

Eric Broussard, vice president of Amazon’s international selling partner services, said: “Global selling will help small and medium-sized businesses leverage Amazon’s scale and influence to expand their trade and gain greater control over their brands without having to solve logistics issues upfront.

Although these new tools are still in the trial stage and are only available to US sellers, I believe that in the near future, the tools that have passed the test will be launched to sellers around the world, and the work of Amazon sellers will be easier in the future.
