Amazon CEO says its retail business accounts for only 1% of the world: It's hard to say it's a monopoly

"Our retail business only accounts for about 1% of the global retail market, which is far from a majority share," Jassy said. He said that the definition of a monopoly is "unrestrained price increases" due to lack of competition, but "we compete with some very large companies... We will continue to lower prices because these markets are highly competitive."
