On September 28 , global payment giant Square and TikTok announced a partnership to launch a new service called "Square x TikTok" , which will make it easier for sellers of all types and sizes to reach new customers and increase online sales.
" Square x TikTok " allows sellers ' fans to directly enter their existing Square online store and purchase products by clicking on TikTok videos, ads and shopping tags in their profiles , thereby simplifying the shopping process and improving the shopping experience .
To take advantage of these powerful new commerce features on TikTok, TikTok For Business users can now quickly and easily set up a free, fully integrated Square Online store and start selling immediately. It was revealed that " Square x TikTok " will soon be available to all sellers.
With 1 billion monthly active users, TikTok is one of the fastest-growing social media platforms in the world. As social commerce becomes more and more popular, reaching this audience can provide valuable opportunities for online sellers.
With Square x TikTok, sellers can grow their business by advertising with the TikTok Ads Manager, sync their existing product catalog to the curated shopping tab on their TikTok profile, and include product links in their content, driving buyers into Square Online to complete their purchase.
