Check yourself! Products that do not meet the title guidelines will be banned from Amazon searches

On e-commerce platforms, the quality of a product's title can greatly affect the product's exposure and click-through rate. Therefore, it is very important to give the product a high-quality title. When sellers write titles, in addition to attracting consumers, they must also pay attention to meeting the platform's requirements.

Yesterday, the official forum of Amazon US Station issued an announcement to remind that when submitting products on Amazon, the title must comply with the guidelines listed by Amazon. If the product name contains restricted keywords or does not meet the guidelines, the products sold in the product types listed below may be banned from search!

Affected product types include : beauty products , health and personal care, cleaning products, pet supplies, consumer electronics, food and beverages, party supplies, luggage and leather goods , alcoholic beverages, gifts, paper products, household goods, baby products and prescription glasses , etc.

Sellers can find out which of their ASINs will be affected and learn more about them in the Product Quality Dashboard. If a seller 's products are removed from Amazon's search because they do not meet the title requirements, they can find these products under "Fix Your Product" .

Under this announcement, the editor noticed that some sellers' products have been banned from search due to non-compliance with the title guidelines . However, this seller is a little "unfair", saying that his product listing was changed to a ridiculous name by an unknown external source, and the brand name was also changed. The product is currently banned from search, and the seller is working hard to resolve this issue.

Another seller said that Amazon's title guidelines require that the brand name must be placed first, and that the health and personal care product titles must not exceed 50 characters, while his brand name has 40 characters. I don't know which brand has such an "excellent" name...

In short, if a product is banned from search because it does not meet Amazon's title guidelines, it will have a great impact on sales activities. Sellers in related industries must conduct self-inspections in a timely manner to avoid such situations.
