According to British media reports, data from market traffic analysis agency Similar Web showed that AliExpress's traffic on this year's Black Friday increased by 140% year-on-year, surpassing Temu, Nike and Apple websites to become the British people's favorite Black Friday shopping platform.
Previously, AliExpress had already topped the UK shopping app download list thanks to the overseas Double 11 boom .
It is reported that action figures, festive items, wigs, and smart car accessories are the most popular products among British consumers during the Double 11 and Black Friday this year. Chinese brands are also very popular in the UK. Pop Mart had dozens of items with sales exceeding US$10,000 just after the Double 11 sale . In addition, well-known domestic brands such as Xiaomi, Lenovo, and OnePlus also showed high growth .
AliExpress has also performed well in other European markets . According to the latest report from retail research organization RetailX , AliExpress has become one of the top three e-commerce platforms in Europe, along with Amazon and eBay.
It is reported that AliExpress doubled its investment in the Double 11 and Black Friday promotions this year, which is the biggest growth opportunity for cross-border merchants throughout the year.
