On September 9, the first China-Europe cross-border e-commerce train in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region departed from Shijiazhuang International Land Port and headed for Malaszewicze, the largest railway transshipment port in Poland, more than 10,000 kilometers away.
The train is fully loaded with 50 40-foot containers of e-commerce goods such as household goods, pet supplies, and auto parts, with a total value of nearly 3 million US dollars. It is expected to arrive at the destination in about 14 days. This train mainly accepts goods sent to Europe by online foreign trade merchants at Alibaba International Station. It is the first cross-border e-commerce train launched by Alibaba in the country.
Compared with ordinary China-Europe trains, the goods on cross-border e-commerce trains are mainly packed in containers and grouped together, which can greatly reduce the transportation cost of a single shipment.
Cross-border e-commerce trains have the advantages of strong timeliness, low cost and large transportation volume. Although they need to cross the Eurasian continent, they are more than twice as fast as sea transportation, and the transportation cost is only one-fifth of air transportation. For cross-border e-commerce companies, this is a convenient, efficient, safe, stable, high-quality and low-cost cross-border logistics "golden channel". Shijiazhuang International Land Port will take the opening of the cross-border e-commerce train as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with Alibaba International Station, promote the development of "China-Europe Express + cross-border e-commerce", and help Shijiazhuang and even Hebei Province overtake in the field of cross-border e-commerce circulation.
With the opening of the cross-border e-commerce train, the Alibaba International Station Shijiazhuang International Land Port Cross-border E-commerce Center Warehouse also opened and operated on the same day. In the future, the cross-border e-commerce train will run at least once a week, and more cross-border e-commerce products will go to various parts of Europe through Shijiazhuang.
On the same day, the launching ceremony of the Alibaba International Station & Shijiazhuang International Land Port cross-border e-commerce train was held at Shijiazhuang International Land Port. The launch of the Shijiazhuang International Land Port cross-border e-commerce train is a milestone in the development of the international land port.
This year, Shijiazhuang International Land Port has continued to operate at a high level. As of the end of August, 115 China-Europe and China-Central Asia trains have been launched. As one of the 35 first-class railway logistics hubs in the country and one of the 14 central stations in the country determined by China Railway Intermodal, Shijiazhuang 's A-type bonded logistics center , which invested more than 50 million yuan to build , has been successfully closed and operated, and the three international routes opened have all been included in the scheduled train operation of the National Railway Group. logistics |
