Amazon sellers were maliciously complained of infringement, and the official removed their products from the shelves and have not restored them yet

The editor learned from Amazon's official seller forum that a seller nicknamed "MOnica-US" had his products removed from Amazon due to malicious complaints due to intellectual property reasons.

The seller said that he received an official email from [email protected] on July 9, informing him that his product link had been removed due to intellectual property infringement. So the seller checked the independent website provided by the reporter and found that the reporter's listing was completely plagiarized from his own pictures and descriptions.

Because the pictures and texts were originally created by the seller, "MOnica-US" provided a series of evidence to file a complaint with Amazon.

On July 12, "MOnica-US" received an email from the Amazon review team. The email stated that the ASIN was misjudged and could now be resumed for sale. However, when the seller edited the product in the backend according to the prompts in the email, he found that the detail page was still deleted. Then "MOnica-US" used the template to delete and upload several times, but the result was always that the detail page was deleted.

Afterwards, "MOnica-US" contacted the seller support team countless times, and the response they received was that the error report that this ASIN was deleted due to infringement had not been cancelled, resulting in the seller being unable to sell products normally.

"MOnica-US" said that after the appeal was successful, the appeal button in the account status disappeared. The seller could not contact the appeal team to cancel the infringement report, and the solution given by the seller support team was to cancel the report before the product could be sold normally.

Similarly, other sellers said that they had also experienced such incidents, but whether they chose to settle privately or the other party chose to withdraw the lawsuit, they were unable to restore the normal use of the link.

After the seller posted on the Amazon official forum, an official Amazon staff member responded and said that the seller's case had been transferred to the relevant team for investigation and asked the seller to wait patiently.

Amazon recently conducted a comprehensive review of intellectual property rights. Some unscrupulous merchants took advantage of platform loopholes to damage the sellers' market. The editor hereby reminds sellers to protect their rights and interests reasonably and legally, and always pay attention to their product information to avoid losses.
