Insulting China products reappear on Amazon platform. What is the real intention?

A seller revealed on a certain platform that many spoof Chinese maps T-shirts with insulting China appeared on Amazon . These T-shirts were all printed with Chinese map patterns and "West Taiwan" was marked in English in the center of the map. A careful seller discovered that the one openly selling these T-shirts was actually Amazon itself. What kind of a scam is this?

Once these product images were exposed, they were immediately boycotted by all sellers. Such products full of insulting Chinese content have seriously hurt the feelings of Chinese sellers and netizens. Is Amazon's platform so insensitive? How can such products with serious invasive connotations of insulting Chinese content be sold openly on Amazon's self-operated platform?

In fact, this is not the first time that Amazon has openly sold products that are insulting to China. In August 2019, Amazon sold Hong Kong independence T-shirts on its website. These T-shirts came in red, black, blue and other colors, and were printed with anti-China remarks such as "Anti-Extradition Bill", "There is no extradition in Hong Kong", and "Hong Kong is not a special administrative region of China".

As a global e-commerce giant, Amazon openly challenged China's "one country, two systems" policy. At that time, it was wildly boycotted and condemned by many media, sellers and netizens. This time, Amazon began to openly sell T-shirts that spoofed the map of China . What is its intention?

Once this insulting behavior was exposed, it aroused complaints from many netizens:

Netizen A: I have already reported it at the front desk. I have also collected evidence and reported it to the Chinese Embassy in the United States. I don't know if it will have any effect, but I am just trying my best to contribute.

Netizen B: This link is shameless and obscene, with no bottom line

Netizen C: Is there any way to kill these links? It makes my blood pressure go up!

According to the examples of banned products published on Amazon's official website, Amazon does not allow the sale of products that promote, incite or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual or religious hostility, or products that promote organizations that hold such views. It will also remove products that depict violence or victims of violence in graphic form.

As a global e-commerce platform giant, Amazon should abide by the regulations of its official website and improve the review of such products. Otherwise, blatantly selling products with strong racist connotations is not only a slap in the face, but also seriously harms many Chinese sellers and netizens.

Although the sellers often joke that they are a living leek that can be trampled on by anyone, national sovereignty must not be trampled upon. Any behavior that insults China's sovereignty is bound to be resisted and condemned by Chinese sellers and netizens. This is the bottom line and will not be tolerated!
