JD.com adds another step to its Middle East strategy, reaching cooperation with UAE B2B e-commerce

Through this partnership, Tradeling will list JD.com’s brands and products on its wholesale platform , giving users in the Middle East and North Africa access to millions of Chinese brands.

At the same time, Tradeling will be able to integrate and use JD.com’s logistics and warehousing infrastructure to enhance delivery capabilities. By leveraging JD.com’s logistics capabilities, it will create a seamless B2B purchasing experience for corporate buyers in the Middle East and North Africa.

At present, Tradeling’s official website has launched a special section to showcase JD.com’s products, including toys, bedding, watches, chairs and benches, lighting, home appliances, home decoration, cabinets, garden supplies, computer and laptop accessories, makeup brushes, etc.

Marius Ciavola, CEO of Tradeling, said: “Our partnership with JD.com will enable businesses in the MENA region to source products from Chinese manufacturers at competitive prices, while also gaining access to the logistics and warehousing services provided by JD.com.”

Marco Mao, vice president of JD.com and general manager of JD International Europe, Middle East and Americas, said: “Under JD.com’s global supply chain, through our partnership with Tradeling, we will bring a wide range of high-quality products to consumers in the Middle East and North Africa to meet their sourcing needs.”

To further boost sales, Tradeling is also offering a limited-time special service. Buy any JD.com product through Tradeling and you will get free shipping. In addition, orders of $5,000 or more can also enjoy free shipping.

In addition, JD.com and Tradeling will jointly support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Middle East to enter the e-commerce industry and study how to open up the market for Tradeling's own brands.

Tradeling is not JD.com's first partner in the Middle East . As we have previously reported, JD.com signed a cooperation agreement with Namshi, a UAE fashion e-commerce company under Dubai Emaar Mall, at the beginning of this month to bring Chinese fashion brands such as Baleno, DODOGOGO, Latit and MO&Co to the Middle East e-commerce market.

Tradeling was launched in the UAE in April last year and has achieved impressive growth. As of now, Tradeling has more than 10,000 registered buyers and suppliers from 25 countries and regions.
