OPPO pointed out that in Indonesia, the usage time (screen display time) of mobile phones has also increased by about 20% compared to usual. People spend more time using their mobile phones on e-commerce , games , cars, entertainment applications, etc.


Among them, screen usage time related to e-commerce increased by 30%, and screen usage time related to news and entertainment categories (such as short videos or games) increased by 10%-30%.


According to Sherly Luo, a representative of PT DTI (Digital Technology Advertising Indonesia) , this trend will continue in the future. As new habits continue to gain popularity , more and more people will start using technology .


"For example, people can enjoy entertainment while shopping on an e-commerce site , " he said .


It can be seen that during the epidemic , the trend of online shopping in Indonesia has indeed changed. If people used to buy clothing products, book air tickets or book hotels online , now their focus is on daily necessities .


Actress Febby Rastanty is also a big fan of online shopping , and now she prefers shopping through e-commerce websites . She said that e -commerce platforms have been a great help to her, and she can buy many fashion products, such as clothing and accessories, on e-commerce platforms .
