Monthly visits reach 25 million! Italy ePRICE has more than 3 million registered users

According to data from the tameboy website, in 2021, ePRICE jumped to third place among Italian e-commerce platforms. Currently, ePRICE has 5 million independent visitors per month and 25 million monthly visits.

As one of the most famous e-commerce platforms in Italy, it has maintained a healthy development momentum since its establishment in 2000, closely following global e-commerce platforms Amazon and eBay, becoming the most popular e-commerce platform in Italy. The latest data shows that the ePRICE platform has a huge share in the Italian 3C electronic products market, second to none.

In addition to consumer electronics, ePRICE is also a market leader in home appliances, games and other related products. The platform mainly deals in electronic products, but is not limited to electronic products. The hot-selling product categories on ePRICE also include fashion, household goods, sporting goods, etc.

The platform provides customers with a catalog of more than 8 million products, where various brand products are gathered and are favored by consumers.

ePRICE currently has 134 pickup points and 296 storage rooms in Italy, and has a wide range of development in Italy.

Currently, there are nearly 50 million Internet users in Italy , which has a strong market foundation. According to survey data, female consumers account for 35% of the ePRICE platform, while male consumers account for 65%, which also explains why 3C products on the platform are hot-selling. In terms of age, consumers aged 25-44 account for more than 50%, making them the main force of platform consumers.

A relevant person in charge of ePRICE said that since the platform has been fully recruiting Chinese sellers, a batch of new sellers will join the account every month, but the platform also said that it has strict control over the number of recruits and adopts a "small and beautiful" recruitment policy, which can reduce competition among sellers and ensure that resources are allocated to sellers with greater potential.

Cross-border e-commerce sellers need to be sensitive to the control of European local platforms. So how can you enter such a powerful Italian local platform? You can find out.

Sellers can register an account using their email address on the platform's official website and become sellers by providing relevant information as prompted.

In terms of platform entry conditions, sellers need to pay attention to the following:

First, the seller must have a European VAT number and accept UK VAT;

Sellers with relevant experience in cross-border e-commerce are also required to provide store links on platforms such as Amazon and eBay, especially those operating 3C products;

Sellers should note that the Visura report provided is issued no more than 6 months ago;

The seller needs to provide the ID card and tax code of the company manager or legal representative;

Sellers also need to provide detailed information of the receiving bank or credit card information, as well as company address and contact information.

According to the latest platform regulations of ePRICE, the cost of opening a store for cross-border sellers includes a monthly subscription fee of 29 euros, excluding sales commissions. The platform currently claims that there is a free trial for the first 12 months (commissions are only paid on goods sold).

The platform stipulates that the commission for consumer electronics products is 5%, and all other categories of products sold on the ePRICE platform need to pay an 8% commission. In addition, a 1.5% fee is charged for credit card payment collection.

The ePRICE platform stipulates that payments can be received on the 1st, 11th, and 21st of each month. The platform accepts payments from WorldFist, Payonner, and soon Pingpong.

As the largest e-commerce platform in Italy, ePRICE promises to bring maximum exposure to products. The platform ensures efficient logistics by cooperating with more than 400 distribution centers.

In 2021, ePRICE will provide stronger support to cross-border sellers. Cross-border sellers of related products can learn more about the relevant policies of the platform and seize the development opportunities in the European e-commerce market.
