Sweeping robots are a big hit! Midea earns tens of millions of RMB in a year

According to Xiu Yang , the person in charge of Midea's sweeping robot store on AliExpress , in less than a year, the sales of Midea's sweeping robots on the AliExpress platform have reached tens of millions of RMB.

 

Looking at the sweeping robot market, the more well-known domestic brands include Ecovacs , Roborock, Xiaomi, and Whale Cloud .

 

Among them, Ecovacs , Stone Technology and Xiaomi rank top three in market share in China.

 

According to statistics, from January to November 2022 , Ecovacs' market share was 40%, Stone Technology 's market share was 21.4% , Xiaomi's market share was 15.1%, followed by Whale Watch .

 

In terms of revenue, in the first three quarters of 2022 , Ecovacs' main operating income reached 10.125 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.81%; net profit attributable to the parent company was 1.122 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.65%. Among them, the revenue in the third quarter was 3.302 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.44%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 245 million yuan.

 

In the first three quarters of 2022, Stone Technology achieved operating income of 4.392 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.78%; achieved net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of 855 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.85%; and achieved net profit attributable to shareholders after deducting non-recurring items of 858 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.93% .

 

Xiaomi has many ecological chains. The demand for Mijia sweeping robots in overseas markets continues to grow, and the annual sales growth rate of sweeping robot products has exceeded 100% .

 

Yunjing Intelligent's revenue in 2019-2021 was RMB 20 million, RMB 800 million, and RMB 2 billion, respectively. Its sales in the first half of 2022 were RMB 350 million, a year- on-year decrease of 12.9% .

 

Yunjing Intelligence is famous for its high-tech . After gaining a foothold in China, it quickly entered the North American market. However, its current market size is significantly inferior to that of Ecovacs, Stone Technology and Xiaomi.

 

In addition to Ecovacs, Roborock, InnoRobot, and Xiaomi 's Mijia sweeping robot , other brands that are currently selling well overseas include iRobot and Anker's eufy .
