It is reported that Tmall International released a new announcement on "Tmall International Platform Safety Management System" yesterday, which showcased Tmall International's new food safety management regulations.
Tmall Global has introduced new food safety management regulations to further strengthen the control of food safety on Tmall Global and ensure the shopping experience of platform users. It is understood that the management regulations will be publicized from March 18, 2021 and will officially take effect on March 25, 2021.
In addition, the new management system applies to all sellers who sell food online on the Tmall International platform, including health products and foods for special medical purposes.
The system shows that Tmall Global has requirements for the formulation and updating of qualification standards for sellers selling food-related categories on the Tmall Global platform , and will conduct online review and verification of the qualification information uploaded by merchants.
The seller 's business operations, such as qualifications , must comply with the Tmall Global Merchants Standards and other rules, systems , and agreement requirements announced on the Tmall Global Open Platform. Sellers must be responsible for the authenticity of online food safety information.
In addition, sellers should comply with the relevant requirements of the Tmall Global Merchant Qualification Standards, ensure the authenticity, completeness and validity of the submitted qualifications, and update the latest valid documents at any time.
It is reported that Tmall Global said that it will also conduct random checks on the sellers who have settled in. First, if it is found that the seller's qualification status has changed but Tmall Global is not informed in time, they will be punished. Second, random checks will be conducted on the products sold on the platform. If unqualified products are found, the sellers will also be punished.
For sellers who violate the platform's food safety system, rules, and agreements, such as false advertising, incorrect or inconsistent product information, substandard quality, etc., Tmall Global will have the right to downgrade, remove, block, delete product information, restrict participation in activities, etc. according to the degree of risk. If the circumstances are particularly serious, Tmall Global will terminate its cooperation with Mianjia.
Sellers who want to know more about the "Tmall International Platform Safety Management System" can go to the Tmall International platform to learn more about it to avoid being affected by not understanding the system. Tmall Global Food safety New regulations |
