Previously, due to the panic buying in the United States, the US house prices ushered in a new increase , which indirectly prompted American consumers to carry out a large number of house renovations instead of buying new houses. It is expected that the projects related to new house renovation will increase by 10%.
Although renovation projects are increasing, survey data shows that mature households ( i.e. households aged 45 and over without children) have the highest proportion of kitchen upgrades. Among them, the budget of homeowners is mainly concentrated on updating cabinets (52% of projects ), drainage pipes (43% of projects), smart home products (57% of projects) and water purification systems ( 54 % of projects) .
Smart homes are popular among consumers
As consumers are more inclined to engage in a lot of construction activities and home renovations, the kitchen and bathroom market in the United States may grow at a faster rate, and many kitchen and bathroom products will also usher in new growth.
In the kitchen, induction cookers with induction technology are expected to replace traditional glass electric cooktops, fume hoods will become the new focus of the kitchen, voice-controlled or touch-free stainless steel faucets , light-colored quartz firmly occupies the throne of kitchen countertop decoration, large backsplashes , air purifiers, water purification systems or products, dedicated charging equipment and emergency power supplies for refrigerators are all favorites in the kitchen.
In the bathroom, integrated seats, bathroom grab bars, voice-activated or hands-free faucets , bidets with self-closing lids , bathtubs with integrated power outlets , smart showerheads, floating vanities with charging capabilities and storage , radiant heated floors, motion-sensing lighting, window treatments , etc. are all bathroom products that are popular among American consumers.
In fact, American kitchen and bathroom designs will move towards a more modern and organic direction, so kitchen and bathroom products with simple lines, minimal details, and more natural and textured feel will be more popular with consumers.
