What is River Cleaner
River Cleaner is a keyword research and optimization tool that allows Amazon sellers to automatically optimize their product listings.

How to use Keyword Research Connect the API key and select one of the product listings in the Seller Center Dashboard. Click "Edit" and the tool will pop up. It consists of the Suggestion Generator on the left and the Keyword Planner on the right:

Sellers can select to generate keywords from the 3 options in the drop-down menu, and then drag and drop the keywords you like to the Keyword Planner on the right:

Sellers then have three options:

1. Enter one or more seed keywords and click the search button:

This option is useful if you want to compare two keywords in terms of search volume or difficulty, or if you want to paste in a large number of keywords from your PPC search terms. This will provide you with search volume and the number of competitors without generating additional suggested keywords.

2. Enter up to 5 seed keywords to generate suggestions, including some long-tail keywords:

3. If you are still in the product research stage, you can use the following tips: Randomly enter 5 irrelevant seed keywords and click Search. Sort by "Ease" and find the green-marked keywords with the highest exact search volume.


Reverse ASIN Lookup and Relevance Score Select “ASIN” in the drop-down menu:

Enter the ASIN and you’ll see the AMS relevance score, which will allow you to better rank your product listings and pay less for advertising:

You can also enter multiple ASINs to see which keywords you’re missing that your competitors are ranking for:

Use Projects to collect and organize keywords. Click the + sign to create a project, click to drag and drop keywords, and click Save:

FAQ Q: Why doesn't the River Cleaner plugin work?

A: There are four reasons why the plugin is invalid:

(1) Sellers need to log in first, click the River Cleaner icon and enter their email address and password:

(2) The River Cleaner plug-in is only available for Google Chrome. Please ensure that the browser version is updated to the latest version. Firewalls may prevent the plug-in from communicating with Amazon or River Cleaner servers. (3) Sellers must ensure that the product listing status is "Active": (4) If the seller has an account that is not registered as a developer, you can go to the seller's permissions page and fill in the required fields in the form:


Q: Will my account or product data be leaked in any way? A: River Cleaner operates within the inventory page of the seller center, but does not transmit or store information to other servers. API keys and purchase prices are also stored on the seller's local computer. Sellers can delete these local data at any time using the "Clear API Key" button in the River Cleaner settings:


Q: Why doesn't the Dashboard show my products? A: When you first connect River Cleaner to Amazon's API, you'll see products appear on the Dashboard. However, these products may be partially loaded or not loaded at all, so you can try clicking the "Load Products" button first:

Q: Where can I find my invoice? A: Log in to rivercleaner.com and click on "Profile". The invoice button is at the bottom of the page:
