  • International Retail and Commercial Banking, providing a range of banking services to corporate clients throughout the Caribbean, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Africa and the Middle East.

Global Retail

GRCB's business consists of UK Retail Banking, Barclays Commercial Banking, Barclays Credit Cards, and International Retail and Commercial Banking. UK Retail Banking serves 15 million UK customers through a network of approximately 1,700 branches.

Barclays Commercial Banking provides banking services to institutions with annual turnover of more than £1 million. Barclays Card offers credit cards and consumer lending, processes card payments for retailers and merchants, and issues credit and payment cards to corporate customers and the UK government.

GRCB's Western European business includes retail and commercial banking in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain, serving nearly one million customers. GRCB's Emerging Markets business is responsible for Barclays' retail and commercial business in emerging markets such as the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf States, Sub-Saharan Africa, Egypt and North Africa, as well as India and the Indian Ocean.
