About Sahibinden

  • In 1999, Taner Aksoy, Vice Chairman of Sahibinden and Aksoy Group, came up with the idea of ​​posting classifieds to the internet, which would allow sellers to post visually rich and detailed listings, and on the other hand provide buyers with quick and easy classified searches. As a result, Sahibinden was launched in 2000, initially containing 2,700 classified ads.
  • As of April 2010, there are more than 1.5 million stores in different categories such as cars, mobile phones, real estate and shoes. In 2009, 5 regional offices were opened in Turkey's major cities Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Trabzon and Adana.
